Wow! I have a whole month of blogging to catch up on. It's all backwards so try to keep up! We of course had Christmas and all that comes with that. We blessed Dane the beginning of the month, and (drumroll)...Ellie decided to use the toilet! I told her she was going to have to get a job to pay for diapers and one day she just decided she could do it. Enjoy!

Cute Boy

Ellie showing Dane his toys

Opening something really exciting with a tootsie roll stored in her cheek

Not quite into Christmas yet. Thanks grandma for the horse, I'm sure she'll eventually like it. Notice the tootsie roll again. She really is like a squirrel sometimes.

Why is everyone acting so excited? Why is all this stuff down here?

Coming down the stairs Christmas morning

Christmas Eve pajamas. This is really the best pic I could get. Ellie has turned camera shy

Family pic in our new PJ's

Opening the pj's

Santa visit #2, Notice the camera shyness again. Funny story: First thing Ellie said/did when we walked in the door was "Look at my canties (ie:panties) Santa, see!" This happened as she pulled up her shirt and pulled her underwear out the top of her pants. Interesting that she'll show him her underwear but wont even stand next to him for a picture!

Dane with Santa along. So cute. Ellie was too scared. I even had my pic taken with Santa to show her he wasn't scary but that didn't help. We offered her candy if she stood by him and this is the best I got. It's better than crying i guess!

A cute pic

Ellie in her underwear after our first day of potty training success! On a side note just so I remember, after Ellie uses the toilet, I find myself cleaning pee off the walls and floor. I thought that only happened with boys! This girl's got special powers!

Another unrelated side note. CJ had an accident while he was working construction and a nail from a nail gun went into his eye. See these beautiful eyes!?! The doctors weren't too sure he would see out of it again. He had surgery and ultrasounds and lots of prayers and a blessing, and as of now, the doctors are amazed at how well things have healed in one short week. Hopefully he will be able to see out of it again. I will be sending you some safety goggles in the mail!

Making gingerbread cookies

Santa visit #1. Clearly this picture would not work for the scrapbook so I took them back for try #2 a few days later

Dane and Chris on blessing day. I'm a dork and did not get a pic of just Dane in his little white outfit. I'll probably take one here soon but he'll be a lot bigger, but in twenty years I probably won't know the difference. It's all about the scrapbook for me.
