I do not sew but after some long hours in front of my machine and the blog "makeitandloveit.blogspot.com" i made this purse! i look at it in awe that I actually sewed it. You should check out this blog though if you haven't cause she has such cute ideas esp if you have kids and if I can do it, you certainly can. Tonight after i put Ellie in the tub, the doorbell ring so i hurried down to get it and it was our neighbors with an ice cream cone for Ellie. Since she was already in the bath i figured what the heck so here she is eating ice cream and taking a bath. "please know that Chris was upstairs with Ellie in the bath while i got the door."

We went to the zoo for memorial day and it was a lot of fun! Ellie loved yelling at the animals to wake up and running around outside.



The tortoise's were HUGE!




We had chickens growing up and I cannot wait unil i get a little bit of land so i can have a few of my own. I will not get a rooster though. They are mean.


At first Ellie did not like the monkeys. She kept yelling "Go away monkey!" They sit right up where you can interact with them. Now she keeps asking to see the monkeys again.


Clearly someone is tired after a long day at the zoo. We had a meltdown getting her to the car because she didn't want to leave but we stuffed her full of Red Robin corn dogs and she was soon fast asleep in the car. (I was pretty tired too)


This is a glimpse into Brooklyn's future.

If Ellie can't be outside in the yard, she settles for the deck. This day she was yelling at the neighbor kids, playing ring around the rosy with her doll, and then putting her to sleep. We also got Ellie a new bed and she did well the first night but it has all gone downhill from there. The next night she started sleeping on the floor and i haven't really had a full nights sleep for a few weeks thanks to this change. Help and suggestions please!

It is so nice that it is getting warm! Ellie loves being outside more than anything right now. The first thing she says when she gets up in the morning is "i want to go". Today we went to play with her uncles and really enjoyed the nice weather. (Her hair is a huge fro like this most of the time!)

Ellie loves eating candy, ice cream, brownies... anything that is sugary. We made brownies today and Ellie had her first taste of batter which she loved! She takes after her mom and her grandma.
