Happy Easter

I tried to do less candy and more toys this Easter. Here is Ellie's breakfast of rice krispies (which went untouched) and fruit snacks with a few smarties. She likes her doll and potato head. Chris's mom made her Easter dress this year. And of course she had to see how it looked with my shoes.

Yesterday was the big easter egg hunt. There were tons of kids and probably at least a thousand eggs. These pics somehow start at the end and then go the the beginning so sorry.

Ellie's death grip on all her candy. I figured I'd just let her have at it and get it over with.

She is a little OCD. She took all the candy out of the eggs and put the candy in one pile and the eggs in the other. Another little organizer!

Ellie and Carter sorting through their finds

Me and Ellie

Her first piece of the day. Must be a little sour. That or there's more than one piece in there.

Ellie, Carter and Avery after the hunt

Carter and Ellie helping eachother out. Carter put eggs in Ellie's basket to help her out. She didn't really need the help though.

It took them a minute to get the hang of it but they soon caught on and then there was no stopping them.
Ellie has this new thing where she takes off her pants and puts on a new pair. This happens all day long so i am constantly putting away stray pairs of pants. The only problem is that she usually can't fit them over her diaper so this is how she runs around. Tonight her uncles who are only six and eight came over and one left his pajama pants on the chair and she somehow snuck hers off and came around the corner wearing his pants!

My parents also came to town last week and then we all went to Utah to play and have my nephew's one year b'day. Ellie was connected to my mom's hip! It was nice for me to have a little break though. Chris and I stayed in Salt Lake and went to a Jazz game. We got pretty good seats too! We sure miss having my mom and dad here though.

Ellie's friend Avery turned one a couple weeks ago and Ellie got to play with her brother carter. He is so nice to Ellie and sometimes she's not so sure but here they are playing at the table. If they ever get together we can show this pic as their first date. I should probably teach Ellie it isn't acceptable to pick ur nose on dates but hopefully she'll get the hang of it.
