Ellie coming over the pass just outside of CDA. She did surprisingly well during the eight hour drive.
Ellie spent a good amount of time in her swim suit which she loved! We brought a little pool for her to play in and she loved trying to get Sadie the dog in the pool with her.
One day you'll get this picture in a one of those emails about crazy redneck things...anyways. my dad gave Ellie some friends to play with in the pool since Sadie wasn't into swimming that day.
Ellie helped pick lots of peas and raspberries but of course would not eat any. She did feed a lot to the dogs however, who loved them.
She loved helping my dad feed his pigeons and working with him in the shop. All week long she was asking where "frampa" was. If he was outside, so was she...
Pounding on the piano. Sometimes she would get someone to play her a song. We made fun of my mom's shirt already...don't worry.
One of the days we were there, it poured and poured. That didn't stop us from taking the dogs to the lake to watch my dad train his new lab Brutus. Ellie had a ton of fun splashing in puddles and wanted so badly to go in the lake. It was freezing though!
She sort of overcame her fear of lawn mowers
We went camping one night and went swimming in the lake. Ellie couldn't get enough of it! Thanks to Brooklyn who played with her in the water. It was getting a little chilly when she finally got out and we sat in the sun to warm up.
The family setting up camp. Sadie somehow snuck her way into the car so she could come along.
Sitting around the campfire. We really were having a good time, everyone just looks grumpy.
Ellie and Sadie after a long night in the camper.
Feeding the ducks with grandma
Helping drive the boat. We were only going about three miles an hour since my dad couldn't get the motor to start. We had the use the trolling motor
Learning to fish with grandpa, the master fisherman
A few days after camping, we went 4-wheeling and Ellie got to try out her cute new helmet my mom got her.
My mom on her motorcycle. Funny
Finally, Ellie and CJ. She loved my brother! She doesn't really like men very well and it takes her a bit to warm up, but they were buds from the beginning. Too bad he couldn't go camping with us.
