A Good Lesson Learned

Today we cleaned out Ellie's closet in search of her "valentines day shirt". These hangers all had clothes that were too small on them so we weeded through the "ugly and will never wear" and "has been cute for overworn" and boxed them up and found a whole new stack of clothes that might fit. I have some good advice for any new mother. save your money... dont buy a ton of baby clothes! yes they are cute and at first you may think they are worth it but when they only get the chance to wear them once it makes you feel like an idiot and it also makes the credit card companies glad that you are such a sucker. I swear to myself everytime i put away a very cute item of clothing that has been worn only once or twice that i will not buy more stuff until she is like two and can actually walk around and doesn't throw up on everything! (hopefully!). The outfit she has on in this pic only lasted about twenty minutes until peaches and rice cereal didn't agree with Miss Ellie. they were a cute twenty minutes though!
